I have served 20 years plus on the Shakopee City Council with multiple mayors, council members, staff members, and other jurisdictional leadership, and have always managed to stay focused on the taxpayers' best interests in a respectful, fair manner.  I have served in all capacities including acting mayor many times.  I have the experience necessary to address the tough issues while maintaining council and community unity. My voting record spanning the 20 years plus of council service, and as current mayor, is open for the public to review. The voters have shown their trust and confidence in me by allowing me to serve them continuousy for that long.
