Born in, raised in,
and remain a lifelong resident of Shakopee. I was a
Neighborhood Watch pioneer 18 years ago with the creation of
the Pearson North Neighborhood Watch group which I captained
for 12 years. This success has lead to many other
formed and forming block groups which assist our community
in fighting and preventing crimes as well as controlling law
enforcement costs.
Night to Unite (formerly National Night Out) has also become a part of Shakopee with more than
80
different areas organized and many more organizing every
year. I strongly support these efforts as shown in my
own commitment over 18 years ago leading these programs to
better our city.
